Roadmap

Phase 1 – BTCx Launch & Vault Deployment

  • Release BTCx (OFT standard) on Ethereum mainnet

  • Launch BTC Smart Vaults (MPC multisig-controlled)

  • Set up BTCx minting portal and transparency explorer

  • Conduct external audits (code, vault security, ZK)

Phase 2 – DeFi Integrations (Live)

  • Integrate BTCx with leading Ethereum protocols (Curve, Aave, Balancer)

  • Launch yield farming programs with partner DEXs

  • Deploy BTCx-LP vaults and staking modules

  • Begin cross-chain deployments (Arbitrum, Optimism)

Phase 3 – Governance Activation

  • Launch BTO DAO forum and Snapshot governance

  • Onboard initial governance council (multi-chain representatives)

  • Deploy Governance Contracts (Timelock + Voting Modules)

  • Begin treasury voting rounds (ecosystem, dev grants)

Phase 4 – Omnichain Expansion

  • Expand BTCx deployment to zkSync, Base, Linea, Mantle, Scroll

  • Launch BTO staking rewards on all supported chains

  • Enable BTCx-native mint/burn on LayerZero-powered chains

  • Introduce BTCx-Oracles for protocol-level interoperability

Phase 5 – Bitcoin-Backed Stablecoin & Treasury Logic

  • Experiment with BTCx-backed algorithmic and collateralized stablecoins

  • Launch Treasury Strategy Module (yield, bonds, insurance)

  • Establish long-term reserve vaults and staking slashing modules

  • Begin zk-KYC/zk-AML optional modules for regulated integrations

Each phase is modular, allowing contributors and DAOs to build alongside the core team, not under it.
